Company ProfileJob Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Development Officer (BDO) to drive growth by increasing listings on the GRP directory. The successful candidate will engage with prospective clients, effectively communicate GRP's value propositions, and secure new listings and advertising partnerships.
This role requires a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the local business landscape, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prospect Engagement: Identify and engage with prospective clients across the Garden Route region to promote GRP's directory and advertising opportunities.
• Value Proposition Communication: Clearly articulate GRP's unique value propositions to businesses, highlighting the benefits of listing on the platform.
• Listing Growth: Drive growth in directory listings by securing new business sign-ups and encouraging existing businesses to upgrade their listings.
• Advertising Sales: Promote GRP's advertising solutions to local businesses, focusing on sponsored listings, banner ads, and premium listings.
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and organizations to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Market Feedback: Collect market feedback and insights to refine GRP's offerings and improve user experience.

Compensation:
Salary is performance-based, with incentives tied to the number of new listings secured and advertising partnerships established.
Work Environment:
This is a remote work opportunity with regular check-ins with senior leadership to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
